We stayed at this hotel for a family and friend only overnight 5-17-2013. Hotel location is good. After all day of walking and sightseeing, we are all tired and took a cab to the hotel. First time in Dublin and in this hotel. It's a nice and decent, the room is clean the bed is very comfortable with a smooth... More

Great hotel, friendly staff, nice quiet rooms with good soundproofing. The beer was good as was the breakfast, and for once the plates were hot. Shower/bath a bit tight but that's my fault for being 19+ stones, good shower head with plenty of pressure and flow

We stayed here 2 nights as part of Trafalgar tour Britian and Ireland Highlights 2013. It is close to everything and right on the Grand Canal. Nice restaurant for included breakfast and we did a decent buffet lunch here as well one day. Rooms had great city views on the North side and there were numerous small places to eat... More

We stayed at this hotel for one night. Parking is very limited, although we were able to find a spot. The attendants at the front desk said it was too far to walk to the Guinness store and the old Jameson distillery. She also said that a bus ride would end up being a little more expensive than a taxi.... More

Just a one night stay & the hotel was adequate for that. We had difficulty in finding the hotel & when we did, we had to do a few extra laps to find the hotel car park. We were lucky to get a space as the small car park was full but a staff member saw us & came out... More

No complaints. The room was clean, the staff was courteous, breakfast was delicious and the price was good. We were 20m from the city center on foot. There was a canal out front that was picturesque. Out the door and left there were a few nice neigjborhood pubs. To the right, there was a chip shop. All good. Overall, I'd... More

The hotel is located right across the street from a Grand Canal and 15 minute walk from the city center. The immediate area has some bars, restaurants and coffee shop, which we found to be especially convenient since our rate did not include a breakfast. The hotel service was professional, nice and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Since... More

We traveled in Ireland for three weeks and the Mespil was the worst hotel we stayed in. That is not to say it was terrible but was overpriced, must have some of the thinnest towels in Ireland along with the worst shower. (In addition to having poor water pressure the water would stop several times during one shower.), {Anyone familiar... More

We didn't spend much time in the hotel itself, but the sleep was more than adequate. The bed was super-comfortable, room was clean, bathroom was roomy. The room was a bit hot, so we kept the windows open both nights. Free wifi; you can get the code from the front desk. It worked pretty good in the room. You are... More

Thank you for your recent review of the Mespil Hotel Dublin. Delighted to see that you had an enjoyable stay with us and that you found the rooms very comfortable and spacious. The location worked well for you within easy walking distance to St Stephen’s Green and I see you also discovered the Gourmet market on Thursday…which sells a variety... More
