We stayed at the hotel 8 days in February 2012. The room was not as I expected based on the photos on the hotel's web site- so don't allow to be mislead ! Our room was an attic type, with one small window facing the 2 m far wall outside - very dim, so I had to keep switch on... More

I stayed here for over 2 weeks whilst working in the area and looking for a longer-term apartment. The prices are very reasonable for such a good hotel, compared to others in the locality. The staff were friendly and helpful, rooms clean and comfortable, the food excellent. I was impressed by the free wi-fi but, unfortunately, it was impossible to... More

We were 2 couples who stayed at The Ashling Hotel in Dublin for 4 nights. The rooms are excellent, spacious and clean. There is no problem there. The location is a bit out of the center. You can take the tram, for 1.90 Euros per person to the center of town. Since we were 4 people, we paid the 10-11... More

My wife and I and two friends stayed at the Ashling Hotel Dublin over the weekend of the Ireland v Wales Rugby International Match. We had booked on standard room only basis. On arrival, for a small sum, we were upgraded to superior rooms which included breakfast. The rooms were spacious with 6 feet wide beds. The en suite was... More

The location of the Ashling may seem distant from a lot of Dublin's attractions, but its proximity to public transportation makes its location excellent. Heuston Station is just across the bridge, Dublin Bus is just steps from the front door, 2 LUAS stops are within a couple of blocks. It's also an easy walk to the National Museum, Ryan's and... More

This hotel is perfectly located near to Heuston rail for arrivals on the transfer bus from the airport and is right on the Luas tram line for trips into the city as well as being close to the Gaol, but without the noise of being a city hotel. The bed was so comfortable and everything was clean & comfortable with... More

Great spot for a break in the city. 5 min walk from the train station and bang on the Luas line too. Really nice rooms too. Breakfast is a buffet but a a really good one. Food seems a dear though. The bar was a nice place to chill too. More

We stayed for the weekend of 20th-22nd Jan 2012 ,Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit the city as the Luas Line leaves from about 50 metres on either side of the hotel which is very convienent as it goes to the city centre then on to the 02 or as we were going to the Grand Canal... was taken to the Asling Hotel for my birthday and it was a real treat. The rooms are beautiful and the location is brilliant. One small issue in that breakfast supposedly finished at 10 am, me and my partner came down at 9.30 and we were extremely rushed by the staff, apart from that the experience was great. More

Just came back from Ashling hotel. We had great rate, 178e for two adults, two nights, including breakfast each morning and one dinner. First impression was great - nice lobby, Rachel was very nice and friendly during our checking in. Room was nice, we had a standard one. It has a huge comfy bed with 6 pillows on it and... More
