You can't beat the location and value for this lodge, but be sure to ask for a room across the street from the reception and keep in mind the small rooms may not have the same amenities (although they are cheaper). My mother & I started and ended our trip to Ireland in Dublin. At the beginning of the trip... more

This hotel was nice, well appointed even if not so good in the details, old structure. There was breakfast not included in the price and the reception was so so. We had a cosy room in the attic but in the night there was an horrible noise of pipes in the wall...couldn't sleep well.Every time someone in the hotel was using water... more

Loved this heritage hotel in a super location very handy to the key Dublin sites, shopping and entertainment, but on a nice side street out of the noise you’d expect in the central tourist area. Every staff member on the front desk during our staff was a delight to deal with, and made us feel very welcome and well-cared for.... more

This hotel is small but homely. Large rooms with small bathrooms and beds. Good value for money for a short stay. Fabulous location- just minutes from Grafton Street, Temple Bar, Trinity College, St. Stephen's Green etc. Bus stop is seconds away. Luisa the receptionist is very friendly and will help u find your way in a snap. more

Great location, right around the corner from the entrance to Trinity College. Handsome staircase. Nice staff. Good quality continental breakfast. But if you are over 55 and find yourself on the third, or even the second floor, be prepared. There is no elevator. We stayed on the third floor. The room remained uncomfortably humid and warm, even with the air... more

Trinity Lodge is located in a small side street about a block from Trinity College. It is in walking distance to the major downtown Dublin shopping and sites and a hop on-hop off bus tour stop is about a block away. The room was spacious, clean and nice. We had a very pleasant stay. We arrived too early to check... more

I have stayed at the Trinity Lodge for 2 nights. I got a very spacious room with a fireplace (not in use anymore) in it. Over all the hotel is very nice. It is a bit dated and there is no double glazing. So it was cold in the room and you could here the noise from outside. But as... more

You can't deny the fabulous location but the hotel does not live up to it's website. We stayed in an enormous but sparsely furnished room in the basement (therefore no view). The room was not especially clean and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. We could also hear washing machine(s) going all hours of the day and night! There was no... more

I booked into Trinity Lodge because the web site claimed it to be 4 star. The hotel is at best described a a tourist grade hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Everything is worn but functional. Going rate here was €89 inclusive of breakfast. Dissapointing in that theyy claim to be 4 star. more

Was looking forward to a birthday weekend in Dublin with my partner and 2 friends, we had booked 2 standard double rooms. I would not describe them as meeting the description "boutique". The are small and tired. The curtains were falling off their hangings, the bedhead was grubby, the bathroom was shabby - the shower screen doors would not even... more
