I would not recommend this hotel to anybody as the rooms are very dated and nothing was working. The toilet didn't flush properly, the internet wasn't working and my telephone in the room was not working either. After waiting for an hour to get the telephone and the internet fixed. All what I was told was sorry we can not... More

My partner and I stayed here as my partner had exam nearby to hotel ,so the location was good .On parking at the hotel we seen we had to pay €8 this should be included in the price .The atmosphere on checking in was cold and very unwelcoming and no information about anything not even told to enjoy our stay... What a horrible way to end the perfect Ireland trip. This place is a total pile of giraffe dung. Some friends used a travel agent to get gouged by this place for the Notre Dame v. Navy Game. The rooms were dirty. The mattress sat on the floor and the box spring had no cover. There were cracks in the... More

I stayed the weekend of the Heineken Cup also and agree with that review. The part of the hotel I stayed in was all in order and the room was clean and comfortable. Only downside was it being a little far out from the centre for my liking. If I visit Dublin again I will stay closer to the city.

Booked the Regency for the Heineken Rugby Cup Final weekend 6 months in advance for a fraction of what many other Dublin hotels were charging and despite the doom & gloom from some on here it was perfectly fine. Asked for a twin and got a double bed/single bed room with decent view and a fair amount of space. Yes,... More

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, reason being the Irish dart championship is held here. Last year we were in a budget room and definitely would not recommend these rooms as they are old and in serious need of refurbishment. This year we got one of the apartments in the hotel and these are great,... More

We had no choice given it was a Rugby Tournament weekend, but we booked what was left, and although suitable for a one-night stay, we definitely should have gone into town. The place is unfortunately falling apart, and is not the place it once was. Lovely service in the bar but the receptionists need training in SERVICE. We were not... More

Stayed here in March for one night at a deal price and would have been really disappointed if I had paid anymore. Bed was really uncomfortable and room needs to be updated. From what I have heard, some people got the better updated rooms. Make a request if you are booking a room here.

My group booked into the Regency for a week, to see the sights of Dublin. Our room was large, bright and nicely furnished. Everything worked. The only criticism I would make is that the bathroom lighting wasn't good around the mirror, a fault found in most hotels. The room was nice and quiet during the nights. The City Tour Bus... More
