We spent a very pleasant weekend at Ripley Court Hotel. The room was a good size, spotless too! The breakfasts were fantastic, really set you up for the day. Was a bit dubious after reading reviews but nothing to worry about. Asked for a quiet room and we were accommodated in this. The walls of rooms are a bit thin,... More

Went to Dublin for a Rugby Weekend. As Welsh visitors we were warmly welcomed by the Irish both on and off the pitch. The Ripley Court is in a good location. Close to Connelly Station, the airport bus (747) drops you off right outside the hotel. O'Connell Street is a short walk down the road and it's close to all... More

Just had a great weekend in Dublin. The Hotel was lovely, staff very friendly. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews, but there was no need. Went to the Grand Canal Theatre to see a show, Reception staff booked a taxi for us. We had a meal in the Bar before we left and the Steak... More

The hotel is in a dangerous part of Dublin city centre - we were told this when asking for directions and advised to be careful going back there late at night. I was slightly worried, especially when we did find it and it looked like it was closed down with a padlock on the bars of the car park. Security... More

Stayed for 1 night in double room. Room was quit big and clean. Heating worked well. Tea and coffee facilities available. Soap and shower gel in dispencer attached to the wall. Breakfast was included with hot buffet but too fat for me. Toasts with jam was best. Pleasant stay with walking distance everywhere. More

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Staff were courteous and helpful. Room was very good - large and clean. Breakfasts were included and were generous. Overall excellent value. Would stay again. More

bad points: in abit of a slum about half a miles walk from the main atractions (temple bar, shopping district), not as close as hotel would make you believe, bookmakers across from the hotel, rooms n need of a revamp, bathrooms pokey and abit discoloured especially around the bathtub, rooms quite small, in our room one of the lights werent working... Just returned from a 5-night stay here. A nice, quiet hotel in a good location! Staff was welcoming and helpful. No language barriers encountered, even though English was not the first language for some of the staff. Not a plush hotel, but very comfortable. Bar & restaurant on site (the full Irish breakfast was delicious). Less than a 2-mn walk... More
