Not what I would class a "boutique" hotel, very sparse,comfortable bed,no mod cons,basic. Location good, about 20 min walk into centre,though area has plenty of good restaurants and bars.

The Merrion Hall hotel is a very nice hotel situated in Ballsbridge. Its very quiet with a very distinctive character. The drawing rooms in particular are very charming and its is a very pleasant surprise to be served tea/coffee and biscuits on arrival in these pleasant surroundings (even more so in Winter, when there are open fires).
