We visited the place on March 2013. Location was perfect for us: on a quiet area but it was fast and easy to travel to the center with bus. Rooms were small but comfortable, service was excellent and breakfast ok. Noices from other rooms are quite easily audible, it may disturb someones sleep when the house is fully booked.

After traveling around Europe it was particularly refreshing to find a place that felt like home. The Kennedy's treated us with the utmost Irish hospitality, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. They made it clear that they would help us if we needed anything, all we had to do was ask. The location was perfect, and the... More

Overall this was a great place to stay. We were here for St. Patrick's day. Mr. Kennedy were very accommodating and even offered to drive us where we needed to go throughout the weekend, saving us a lot of time and aggravation. I highly recommend Slievenmanor if you are looking for a great few days in Dublin.

We have stayed in quite a few B&B over the years, and several on our trip to Ireland. The welcome to this home was rushed, the house is dark, in disrepair and our room was tiny with old dirty upholstered furniture, a TV that was actually a black and white model, the towels were large, but were well worn. It... More

Mr. and Mrs. Kennedy provide Irish hospitality at its best. They were able to help me get around Dublin and environs with the least uncertainty a hillbilly ever had in a big city. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the Irish breakfast was expertly prepared. The Clontarf area has many attractions within easy walking distance of Slievenamon Manor, including... More

Slievenamon Manor was rather average in comparison to all B&Bs we visited. The room was very small. We got used to bottle of water usually put in B&Bs, but here there wasn't any and the tap water was not really drinkable without boiling. There was no shower gel either. We asked for turning the heater on since our clothes and... More

For a B&B, everything was fine (location, keys working...). The room was "compact" for two twin beds: it's REALLY a room to sleep and not much else. The problem (also read in a prior Review) was the dirty bathroom. There was no toilet paper or bathsoap, and the Airwick freshener was a withered bean that was right on the sink... More

We had a lovely stay here. My husband and I came here on our first stop to Ireland and everyone that ran the B&B was wonderful! We stayed for two nights and had a great Irish Breakfast both mornings. They were so sweet and we had great conversations with John. I wouldn't pay attention to the negative reviews because our... More

This was the first of a few B&B's my husband and I stayed at in Ireland and it was one of our favorites. We went to Ireland for our honeymoon. When we arrived, John's son was there to help us with our bags to the room. Later on we met John who was just nice as can be. Anytime we... More

We arrived early and John let us in early. It was great. John sat with us during breakfast, and gave a real insight into Irish Culture. No Complaints. Loved it!
