From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were visiting family. Brendan was so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The accommodations were terrific: spotless, spacious and quiet. It was nice to have the sitting area available to us as well, giving us the extra space to kick back and relax. The location of the B &... More

Quince Cottage is without question the most comfortable, cozy, clean and immaculate lodging accommodation. The owners, Brendan and Paula are the warmest and friendliest hosts you will meet. The breakfast is amazing and where Quince differs from most B and B's is they allow you to order your breakfast the way you want it without a hassle. There is not... More

A true delight especially for a first time visit to Ireland. Brendan and Paula go out of their way to make you feel at home and part of the family. The family room we had was very spacious and well appointed. The bathroom was very neat and tidy. The breakfast was fantastic with light irish music in the background, freshly... More

We found that Quince Cottage was a charming and welcoming 'home from home' during our 4 day trip to Dublin, conveniently located a few minutes walk from the LUAS tram, which is 25 minutes into Dublin city centre. Brendan and his team were amazing, chatty, helpful and accomodating. I would completely recommend this place over a hotel for the personalised... More

How do i begin? Quince cottage is an excellent home away from home. Brendan and Mairead made our stay extremely comfortable and couldn't have been more welcoming. After arriving early (before check-in time) we were greeted with tea and homemade scones with marmalade and jams, an excellent surprise! We were allowed into our room straight away which was unexpected but... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Quince cottage, we arrived late and asked Brendan if he could recommend something. He made a call and drove us to a great pub/inn for a great meal and drink. The breakfast was perfect, best brown bread i've ever had. Excellent experiance.

I've just finished a six-month stay at Quince Cottage while working at the Sandyford Industrial Estate and I cannot recommend this B&B highly enough. Brendan, Paula and Mairead are simply the best hosts, the rooms as clean & spacious, and the breakfast is fantastic (thanks guys for the regular poached eggs on toast ;-) When staying away from home with... My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Quince Cottage for 5 nights in November. Brendan, Paula and Mairead are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is that best I have had at any B&B. Made to order with such attention to detail. I left with recipes for Brendan's incredible Oat Bread and Orange Cake. We were traveling... More

Quince Cottage is very clean and comfortable. Paula and Brendan are very kind and generous people, and they were great at offering suggestions and directions. The breakfasts were very good. On days that I left early for tours, they graciously packed me a bag. This B&B is not in City Centre, Dublin; but I preferred this because it was very... More

We stayed at Quince Cottage for 4 nights just recently for a surprise trip for my husband's 50th birthday. We had the best time ever. Brendan and his wife Paula, together with Mairead are the nicest people you could ever meet. We loved our morning chat over breakfast and talking to 'real Irish' people rather than being in some 'formal... More
