Friendly, relaxed welcome! Nice room with entrance straight in from the garden. All the heat we could want in the room (in spite of the cold weather we had to turn the heating off - the room must have been very well insulated). Amazing breakfasts! I had never had Eggs Benedict or French Toast with bacon before! This was so... More

Simple, pleasant, clean accomodation a few kilometers south of the beating heart of Dublin. Nice neighborhood. Good pubs/restaurants nearby. Cab or bus into/from center of city unless you really like to walk and walk..... Attentive helpful host. Good breakfast. Smallish rooms, some slightly larger and quieter than others. Room 10 offers most quiet and privacy. No house pets. Next time... More

My weekend stay in Donnybrook Hall was one of the most relaxing weekends I have enjoyed for a long time. Terry the owner was so helpful making sure we had information on absolutely everything possible. Our room was really nice and clean. And the staff were also extremely helpful offering us tea & coffee on arrival. The best thing about... More

We were booked for this B&B for two nights in April 2013, we stayed for one which was one to many. The hosts were friendly and attentive but the property was way below standard. I have traveled to Ireland and Scotland several times staying in over a dozen bed and breakfasts this is one of the worst. I would consider... More

Hi Bob, While we always welcome feedback for the chance to improve our high standards I do feel that I should point out some valid comments to you, when reserving your room you reserved room only accommodation in a double room at a small 60 euros per night we also put you in an extremely quiet garden room overlooking the... Bedroom was small but comfortable and clean. Shower was nice and hot and powerful. Breakfast was very yummy. Downside was our room was at the front of the house, and although the road is residential and not that busy, the traffic does come past all the time. The rubbish collection at 6.30am on Monday woke us up.

Nothing is too much for this guest house in Donnybrook Village. Clean, comfortable, well appointed rooms and superb breakfasts to shame the big name chain hotels. Should you be offered the Eggs Benedict, grab it with both hands. Fantastic value.
