The staff very helpful and friendly. Rooms basic and dated but clean. Indian restaurant absolutely gorgeous and complete surprise in two rooms in middle of hotel Vagya which was recommended by lady in car park. The outside is terrible and i nearly turned and ran when i saw it but was going to concert in croke park that evening so... More

Myself and my fiance booked a romantic weekend away to Dublin to spice things up if you know what i mean, Upon doing a google search from my office looking for a cheap and cheerful hotel in Dublin close to the city centre up poped The Sunnybank hotel, i taught to myself "what the heck" and booked up. The reason my friends and I visit Ireland every other month is for the friendly, welcoming culture and the heavy drinking sessions, this is the 1st Dublin hotel that we have found that not only make you feel welcome but also where the staff and locals actively join in with you. This place is without a doubt a little haven... More

From our arrival at the Sunnybank 'bar l unge' (missing 'o' on signage!) our stay was eventful. If anyone had to... More

Do not stay here if you value your sleep! Arrived here and was pleasantly surprised and happy with cleanliness ! False sense of security! Arrived home and hotel was quite noisy - though this would end by around 1am. - nope! Local people using bar the whole night through to 9am the next morning, singing shouting and chanting. Didn't sleep... More

I would only recommend this hotel to alcoholics. There is no point in booking a room either because it is quite acceptable to sleep on the floor of the... More
