We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Mary made us feel so welcome, she is a great hostess with a great sense of humour. Will be back!

I stayed with Mary and Brandon for 3 weeks in their beautifully warm and welcoming home and could not fault a thing! Fantastic location - right beside UCD, 10 mins drive into the city centre and only 5 mins from the lovely restaurants in Ranelagh. We were visiting dublin for the rugby.We stayed when Donnybrook hall relocated us (apparently they often do this if they can sell the rooms for longer stays or more money). Very comfortable rooms in a lovely character property with an affable hostess. excellant breakfast .a completely hassle free stay. An ideal location away from the bustle of the city centre.... More

Mary looked after us when we had a booking with another B&B cancelled at the last minute. Very friendly and welcoming, food was great, and Mary obligingly allowed my husband to stay in bed way past check out time as he was ill. Quiet location (at least at the weekend) near UCD, on bus routes into town and with walks... More

Mary and Brandon helped us out when our reservation was canceled by another B&B. They were great hosts and there tariff was quite reasonable for Dublin. Great breakfast and an interesting home. Give the Cottage a try if you are looking for an economical, decent B&B in south part of Dublin.
