I recently spent 3 weeks in Galway working at NUI Galway as a visiting scholar. My stay at the Adare was just excellent. The location is very handy to downtown, and a modest walk to the university. The owners could not do enough for me, and made me feel totally at home. The breakfasts were lovely and prepared with care.... More

My wife and I spent two nights at the Adare Guesthouse recently and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the accommodation. The price we paid was a bit more than the highest price advertised on their website but we expected that as it is the case with most accommodations for New Years . The guesthouse is located only... We stayed for three nights at Adare, and enjoyed the breakfasts and the coffee machine, along with the cozy downstairs sitting room. The location is also ideal, being five minutes away from the city center of Galway. However, the experience overall was disappointing and overpriced for what we got. The owner was not terribly accommodating or friendly. We did not... More

We loved staying at Adare's. The breakfast was wonderful - great pancakes with salmon!!! And my husband went crazy over the coffee machine. The owner was fantastic and we LOVED HER SINGING every morning! What a cheery place and so was so helpful with all of our questions and requests. It was a great location and within walking distance of... More

The owner gave great tourist advice, and helpful info, breakfast was terrific, great choice, great pride of home grown herbs/veggies, lovely garden and courtyard. rooms were bright clean comfy and cheery, as was the dining area with a view of inner courtyard...owners very proud of the buisness, and i... We could not have found a nicer location to start our holiday in Ireland. The location is easy walking distance to city centre yet off the path so quiet in the evening. Lovely room accomodations and the staff make you feel as part of the family. Have Padraic show you his garden outside. This was a real find! More

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The breakfast was one of the best we had during our 16-day stay in Ireland and Scotland. The owners are kind, gracious and giving, and especially helpful to us in searching for our lost luggage. Also, the guesthouse is within walking distance to the bustling streets of Galway City, which was a big plus... More

Breakfast was incredible especially the bowls of lovely fresh soft fruits and the cooked Menu was amazing. Would not hesitate to recommend this... More

This property was a GEM!. It is slightly tucked away from the main street but once you get your bearings it's easy to see how close you are to everything. My friend and I stayed here in May. It was only going to be a short stay but my friend became ill and we had to stay an extra 3... More
