Cracking spot, have stayed all over Galway but pound for pound this is head and shoulders above the rest. Had a super room with balcony, consistently good (and well priced) food in the restaurant, but what really makes it is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, we stayed during races week when they were packed to the rafters, but...

Just come back from a lunch out in Bodkins and will never return to eat in the place again. I ordered a tuna salad...... consisted of a plate of lettuce with a small bit of tuna and about 5 olives........and it cost 8.50 euro. I have never had such a terrible and disappointing lunch before. Complete rip off and would...

Great homely hotel with plenty of athsophere. Fiona the manager knows how to look after her guest. Food throughout the day was very good. We were there race week, and everyone got the staff indivadual attention. Bus stop right outside to have you in the city in 10 mins. Good place to stay.

Booked into this hotel for a weekend in Galway City. The hotel is very far from Eyre's Square, the main pub area costing us €12-€15 each way. The weather was awful during our stay, heavy rain all weekend so we spent most of our money on taxi's! (4 trips a day starts to add up!) I would not advise using...

Went to Galway for one night for a fun night! Booked this hotel as it was the cheapest we could find and we were delighted with the hotel. Very accessible and easy to find with plenty of parking. Bedrooms were very very basic but bar was nice and breakfast was fab!

Excellent in every day and superb value. You won't get better in Galway even for twice the price. Staff are very friendly and helpfu. Food everything you'd want and half the price of most places in town. Rooms spacious, clean and well equipped. Freeinternet and newspapers. What more could you wabt? I've never stay anywhere else again,
