We stayed for three nights recently at the Connaught. The accommodations, the food, and the company were all excellent, and both Colette and Tom could not have been a more gracious host and hostess. If you plan on visiting Galway (a great city), you would do well to stay at the Dunlavin.

We first visited this b+b 20 years ago and are still planning to visit again this year. I dont think we have missed a year, Breakfast to die for, rooms spotlessly clean, but the main attraction is the genuine hospitality you will receive from the hosts Tom and Colette. No better B+B exists in our view. See you soon guys,... More

This B&B is perfect if your destination is the Aran Islands. The owners were very friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. There is a horse that lives next door and we enjoyed feeding him apples and carrots, plus they have a lovely back yard which was a nice view from our bedroom.

My family spent two nights at Tom & Collette's. They are amazing! They were incredibly friendly and hospitable! They booked two tours for us in minutes and were so happy to do so! We booked two rooms. Both rooms were fabulous! The breakfast was delicious! A great variety to chose from outside of the traditional Irish breakfast. Can't wait to... More

After having spent two and a half weeks touring Ireland with family, I stayed on and met a friend from Germany. We wanted a nice quiet waterfront B&B away from the hustle and bustle of the city. That's exactly what hosts, Tom and Colette provide. The room was typical of Irish B&Bs in terms of size and amenities. Nice separate... More

Room: Very spacious and nicely appointed and overlooking the bay from our window. We had asked for twin bed and we got # 3 - and our room came with 1 double bed and 1 single bed so we had plenty of space. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless clean. Breakfast: Eggs I ordered was perfectly cooked, I hate overcooked... More

Tom & Collette were wonderful hosts. They made us reservations for the Aran Islands and recommeded an exit route when we left the area to avoid the construction. Breakfast was made to order and quite good. We had a lovely visit with them and really enjoyed talking with them. It was a long walk into Salthill but it was beautiful... More

Colette and Tom were most gracious and welcoming. The rooms were beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean. Even the bedrooms in the back looked into a lovely garden. Breakfast was excellent. Tom and Colette provided great directions to help us by-pass heavy traffic areas. They recommended a wonderful restaurant 5 min. away. We had a family group of 11 and Colette... More

When my friend and I arrived it seemed like a nice place but was a bit far away from the main area of Salthill. We went out late that evening, when we were preparing to leave the following morning the owner arrived at the door and demanded that we pay for a second night because there was fake tan on... More
