We stayed at the Seashore Lodge for 2 nights. We had a small issue with the shower on the first night and were directly offered to use the shower in another room. The second day the shower was fixed! Noreen was an amazing host although she seemed to have difficulties acknowledging the male presence our group of 3 people. But... More

Before writing this review, I took the time to review the information on their web site thinking I may have missed something. Yes, Noreen was very accommodating, our GPS took a vacation at the same time we needed her and we arrived late. Noreen was very helpful in directions over the phone. However, the photos on the web were not... More

Noreen (owner) was lovely, the rooms were clean, fresh and comfortable and the FULL IRISH breakfast was a great way to start each days' adventure. The location was great for us, not wanting to be downtown, yet close enough that a short taxi/bus ride in was do-able. Our first trip to Ireland, to meet our daughter who had been student... More

This was a lifelong trip for our family in visiting Ireland. We had just flown into Shannon on an overnight flight and (with trusty TomTom GPS) we made our way to Seashore Lodge. We were warmly greeted by Noreen Costello, Owner/Mgr (who kept in touch with us via email prior to our trip). The rooms were efficient, comfortable and clean.... More

Our hostess was so accomodating and the location, view and room was wonderful. We would recommend this guesthouse to anyone looking for a quite getaway with a beautiful view of Galway Bay. Close to downtown but out just far enough to enjoy. We left very early in the mornig to catch our plane and the hostess still got up to... More

Noreen was a wonderful host. We were greeted with tea and biscuits. Our room was clean, inviting and spacious. The location was great. We had a car so we were able to access Galway City Centre and Salthill. Noreen provided us with maps, information and advice for touring near and around Galway. She had tickets for our boat trip to... More

My Wife and I arrived after a long first day in Ireland. I can say that the Sea Shore Lodge was a welcome rest, one that we really needed after a long day of flying and driving. The Hostess greeted us with hot chocolate before we took an afternoon nap. Our room was spotless and comfy, with a wonderful view... More

I booked a three night stay with friends at the Seashore Lodge after reading the rave reviews on TripAdvisor. I have to say, I was quite disappointed and this is probably the worst bed and breakfast that I have ever stayed in. First, this bed and breakfast is NOT located within walking distance of downtown Galway, unless you want to... More
