We were in Ireland for two weeks and stayed in 4 B&Bs during our holiday. We stayed 3 nights at the Ferris Wheel and it was very much below the quality of the others. This one was clearly the worst. I'll compare the experience here compared to the other B&Bs. At all the other B&Bs we were greated by the... More

The gap of Dunlow is a mystical place and John, the propritor of the Ferris Wheel made it even better. The accomodations were great and John whose grandfather and father have taken visitors by horse and trap into the gap over the last 80 years provided first hand knowledge of the area including its history, fauna and geology. It was... More

We spent the day climbing Ireland's highest mountain, Carrountoohil. Our guide recommended The Ferris Wheel B&B as it was near the mountain and also close to Kate Kearney's Cottage for dinner that evening. We stopped by without having a reservation and were greeted by John who led us to a beautiful room. The inn is lovely! We had a great... More

We stayed at the Ferris Wheel while attending a wedding in the area, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough. The hosts John and Nora are just lovely. Our room was spotless with a beautiful view of the mountains behind. It's a perfect location for walking the Gap of Dunloe (or John will take you up there on his horse... More

We chose to stay here as it had many good reviews on Trip Advisor. The B and B was a lovely house in a beautiful setting. The owners couldnt have been more helpful. They advised us of places to visit and restaurants to go to. The only thing we didn't like was the shower set up. The shower screen does... More

The Ferris Wheel B&B stands close to a great location: the Gap of Dunloe. Nora and John made us all feel very welcome and so did their niece, Helena who greeted us when we arrived late in the evening, in fact came to meet us as had some trouble finding our way there. The house is beautifully decorated with great... More

We had a lovely night stay at Ferris Wheel, where we were welcome with a smile despite our late no reservation arrival (finished the Gap of Dunloe walk at nearly 21:00 and spontaneously decided to sleep in the area). The room was very comfortable, it shows that it received a lot of attention (wall plugs, lamps, shower, etc...), breakfast was... More

We stayed for 2 nights in The Ferris Wheel B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place close to Killarney and definitely close to the Gap of Dunloe. There's a lot to do in the neighbourhood of the B&B, even a restaurant/pub a small walk away. John and Nora keep a very clean house, excellent rooms... More

My husband and I would highly recommend The Ferris Wheel B&B in the Gap of Dunloe. The house is beautiful, and the rooms are very clean and comfortable. There is beautiful hardwood floors throughout the room and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and although the half shower stall was a bit unusual, it worked just fine.... More
