Our second visit to The Lake Hotel this year and we were not disappointed. Great hotel and exceptional value and one of the worlds great views. What more could you ask for! Our guests are well travelled, older people and they rated this hotel as one of the best they have stayed in.

We had the most amazing room on the 3rd floor, with a beautiful lake view. I sat on the balcony every day soaking up the lake and mountain view. So peaceful! All the staff were kind and courteous. We've stayed here 3 times over the last few years. The food is always fantastic with plenty of options. Very friendly & helpful staff and great views of the lake. All rooms have views of the lake. Looking forward to our next visit.

Restaurant seated us promptly but never assigned a server so it took 2 hours to get a three course meal. 1/2 hour to get first drink and 1/2 hour for desert after order placed. No manager supervising until we were done at 10:30 and then made serving apologize while still charging for the meal. Torturous dining experience.

We stayed here twice. 2011&2012. Deluxe room then four poster. The views are lovely. The staff friendly and the food amazing. Try the curry bread. Lots to do in the town and a nice bar and secluded rooms to have your drink. Can't but recommend this place as there are sooooo many hotels in Killarney.
