The Kingfisher Lodge was recommended to us by the previous B&B we stayed at in Dingle. We arrived a little early for check in but Ann was right there to store our luggage safely and direct us on what was interesting to see and do in the area. She made reservations for Celtic Steps that evening, a trip to the... More

We stayed for two nights at the Kingfisher and really enjoyed it. This house (lodge?) is beautiful and clean, and the staff is very friendly. Breakfast was great, with several delicious hot choices every morning to choose from, as well as choices of fruit/yogurt/cereal. The location was also great. I'm always wary of claims of "close to downtown", but the... More

The Kingfisher Lodge is a pleasant, friendly guesthouse within walking of downtown Killarney. Ask hosts Donal or Ann to suggest places to visit (they will make desired reservations for you), where to enjoy a traditional Irish dinner or a pint. They have a full staff who keep your room clean, towels fresh and beds tidy. Should you run a bit... More

We had a lovely two-night stay at Kingfisher Lodge. Ann was very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with choices including fresh fruit, pancakes, and a full Irish. The location is very convenient for the restaurants and pubs in the town centre, which is only a 5 minute walk down the street.

Well-cared for place--a short walk to town, delicious breakfast, and hosts that made good suggestions for hikes and drives. Really, there's no reason not to stay here. At the suggestion of another TripAdvisor review, I did get the banana pancakes (Swedish-style, which is a delight if you are used to American-style heavy pancakes) and they were tasty. We stayed for... More

Me and my partner came to killarney for a few days. We stayed in the kingfisher, it was such a beautiful place. We really enjoyed the breakfast, it was more than we could have asked for, with such a huge variety. There was plenty of space to park our car and both Ann and Donal were great hosts. Donal has... My husband and I were going to stay for just one night but ended up staying for another due to the great accomodations, good location and very friendly staff. We were given maps and directions to local sightseeing sights as well as recommendations for eateries and entertainment in town. We even got a ride into town due to a light... More

This is our second time staying at the Kingfisher Lodge - we stayed a few years ago and loved it and back again for a stay last week. We love Killarney and we love the Kingfisher Lodge. We stayed in a room on the ground floor and it had a lovely clean smell the minute we entered the room. The... More

Low cost, cleanliness could have been better (the carpet in the room needed a thorough vacuum). More of a hotel than a B&B. Breakfast staff were lovely (but the check-in staff a little surley), good food and the selection was interesting (e.g. ground flaxseed/linseed available).

Truly enjoyed my time at the Kingfisher. It was a wonderful lodge with spacious rooms. Most of the rooms are upstairs- If you have trouble navigating stairs, this place may not be for you or more inquiry may be needed. The breakfast was delightful and the owners were lovely. This B&B has private parking (off street). However, it's a small... More

dear guest, thank you for taking the time to review our lodge and we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us. As you mentioned we do have downstairs rooms which may suit some guests but our upstairs rooms are just up the stairs (15 steps) so this should not be a problem to most people we are happy... More
