I stayed in MCourts Townhouse with 20 of my friends for My Hen party, I didn't know what to expect! All the rooms were very clean spacious. Perfect for a short city trip. Everyone was impressed. The location is excellent is right on the main street. Great value for money. I would definitely visit again.

This restaurant is part of Mc Courts Townhouse. Our meal was lovely. If you like Thai/Malaysian Food it's fab. The restaurant was a bit cold but the waiter did ask and us if we were cold and it did seem to warm up a bit after that. The waiter John couldn't have been nicer and was really nice to our... More

I stayed here with friends for my birthday, we had two twin rooms for one night. My room was spacious and very clean and the beds are very comfortable, unfortunately my friends' room wasn't the same, it was right next door but it was much smaller, it was very narrow and quite dark. Being there for a girls night out... More

Stayed here with my wife and a group of six other friends last weekend. By far the best value "affordable" accommodation in Kilkenny. The location is second to none right in the centre of the city beside the river and castle. Also try the Thai restaurant downstairs, perfect. As we booked we where made aware that there was no breakfast... More

I googled B&Bs in Kilkenny and McCourts Townhouse came up as offering this service. I booked using Booking.com and phoned. I paid 89 euo for 1 double and 59 euro for 1 single. The guy that booked us in wanted 10 euro extra for the single room which I refused to give him not realising that I would not get... More

I'm not sure whether my husband and I had a typical experience here. The first night we were upgraded to the Riverview hotel (which owns the property) for unknown reasons. The second night we stayed at McCourts, which was practically the same as the hotel but the rooms are smaller, the tv is smaller, and all the walls are painted... More

Two friends and I had a great night in Kilkenny and a great stay in McCourt Townhouse. We didn't need too much in the way of luxury as we knew we'd be out and about, enjoying the place. This was the perfect option-right in the middle of town and not to expensive. I'd definitely recommend it!

The Townhouse's are in a great locations. Right next to the river and near the town area and the castle. The room itself was quite small, are bed only allowed the door to open just wide enough to allow us to walk one at time at an angle. With two large roll suitcases, carry on bags, and us.. the only... We are delighted you enjoyed your stay. It is unfortunate that some of our rooms are smaller. We were limited in our ability to extend some room sizes during renovation because of the buildings heritage protection status. We would be happy to see if we can accommodate you in a larger room during your next stay with us. Thank you... More

Stayed here with friends, brilliant location. Walking distances to all pubs and clubs in Kilkenny! Rooms are basic but clean and have a comfy clean bed! We weren't affected by noise as our room was at the back of the building facing the rivercourt hotel! Parking is in the rivercourt and costs 3 euro! Check in, is in the hotel... More
