We spent the weekend just gone in the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny. We got a great deal to stay 2 nights b&b with one evening meal and the 3rd night stay for free. Stayed here in oct 2011 with hubby, hotel was ok,clean & friendly but a bit dated. We had dinner in restaurant one evening & food was nice. It says on website about ten minute walk from city centre but theres no way any women would walk it in boots or shoes but taxi was cheap & easy to get! More

We recently had our wedding in this hotel (28th December 2011) & I've got to say the hotel staff could not of been more helpful, friendly & obliging. Pros - The bed was the most comfortable that we slept in on our trip. - The breakfast was good. Cons - The walls were so thin that we could hear the family next doors reading their child a bedtime story.
