On a business trip to Ireland I took a day to myself to research my family roots in the Wexford Co area. I booked a room for one night and was happy to have the ground floor bedroom which was very comfortable. The only improvement I can suggest would be a bathtub which I love after a long day of... more

I stayed at McMenamins for 4 nights and the entire time I was there I felt relaxed and at ease. Town center is just around the corner, with fantastic shopping and eating. If you need ideas on what to do or where to go Seamus is an excellent source, as is Kay. As for them boasting "Irelands best breakfast" -... more

Seamus and Kay are a fantastic team! Kay makes the most fabulous breakfasts in Ireland, (the smoked haddock fritata was divine) and Seamus is friendly and informative. Our four-poster bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet, even though the townhouse is in the middle of Wexford. more

We had the same room as Kitty. We loved it. When you travel, it is an experience and you make the best of it. Kay and her husband greet you like long lost friends. They gave us the nice large bedroom on the ground floor. In the window boxes out the breakfast room window, they were filled with beautiful new... more

We stayed at Mcmenamin's for 2 nights in early May. The location is very central, literally a 10 minute walk into Wexford Main Street. Seamus and Kay made us both feel very welcome from the off. As hosts, they were friendly, helplful and accomodating. The house is beautifully kept; our room was cosy and homely; right at the top of... more

I am not going to lay out McMenamin's opulent breakfast table for you because a) others have done it before me and it is all true, b) it would dangerously deplete my rather respectable stock of superlatives and c) it would make me hungry, which isn't such a good idea in general - but especially if you're nowhere near said... more

We arrived on a rainy Sunday afternoon after a long drive with no reservations and when other Bn'Bs had turned us away with the explanation that they were closed for Sunday, but upon the reccomendation of the last BnB we knocked on Mcmamin's door. Seamus opened the door looked at us and took us in with a big comforting smile.... more

We have been staying at this B & B each year for over 10 years now, as part of our annual trip to the Wexford Opera Festival in the Republic of Ireland. What is the USP of this remarkable place? Well, quite simply it’s the fantastic breakfasts produced by Kay and served with aplomb by Seamus. Apart from the usual... more

We stayed here for three nights while visiting the Wexford opera festival (highly recommended!). The welcome from the owners was very warm and friendly, the room large, clean and comfortable and the en-suite excellent. The owners, Seamus and Kay, are very keen to make you feel at home in their home. The whole house has recently been totally and sympathetically... more
