“Sruffy room, old bathroom, difficult to find.”

Poorly located off the main road, the staff were ok but the room was tired and scruffy, the bathroom was dirty and the adjacent pub (also owned by Whitbread) was even worse. Give this one a miss.... More

Excellent stay at the Premier Inn Maidstone (Sandling). V.Good staff and excellent breakfast. We also had a meal in the evening and could not fault the service and food. Great views and we will visit again during the summer as it is near the river, a lovely location. Hotel was clean, and friendly. Once again we could not fault this... More

This is a Premier Inn. The room is predictable. The food is predictable. The bathroom is predictable. A lovely hotel by the river Medway with great views, made all the better by the friendliness of the staff at both the hotel and neighbouring Beefeater. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and provided a great value for money. More

As always with this chain, the staff are friendly and caring. Good value accommodation with a smashing breakfast. Lovely position by the river. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning....very warm even in October. More

We stayed here for just one night on the way to France. Managed to get a £29 room deal. Hotel is in a lovely location, just by the river & was very clean. The lady in reception was very friendly as were the staff in the Malta Inn next door where we ate dinner as part of he meal deal... More

Rather than stay in the usual dives in Dover we decided to stay in Maidstone for a change and drive the 45 minutes to the ferry the next moring. For a Premier Inn we thought it was great, the room was cheap and very clean. The location was excellent right next door to a really nice pub and river. The staff were pleasant and very helpful. More
