Having experienced many B and Bs in the course of a busy business life, I can say with confidence that Willow Cottage ranks with the very best, thanks to Ann's impeccable standards. I have stayed there on a number of occasions, both alone and with my family and we have always been made to feel very welcome. The rooms are... More

Very clean, well-kept B&B. My wife and I stayed for one night en route to a visit to Freckleton the following day. Ann was friendly and talkative, and served an excellent breakfast. Our room was a bit cramped but was as expected and satisfactory. It was getting a bit chilly that day so Ann made sure the heat was on... More

We stayed with Ann for one night before setting off on The Ribble Way. It was just the start we needed, with a lovely peaceful and comfortable room which allowed us a good night's sleep before starting our walk. This, plus an excellent breakfast, made it ideal. A real 'plus' for us was the fact that in our double room... More

Stayed with Ann for just one night with my husband and brother on our whirlwind tour of the country doing Land's End to John O'Groats in nine days on bikes. Plenty of room to store bikes and off road secure parking. Beautifully appointed rooms with huge puffy duvets and luxury towels to make us feel very spoiled after coping with... More

I had an overnight stay at the Willow Cottage, Langton, near Preston, which was very pleasant and with an excelent breakfast. The proprietor, Anne, was extremely helpful and I can recommend the b and b to anyone planning a stop in that area

Just spent the weekend at Willow Cottage over the British Open weekend.....fantastic place to stay. Great rooms, very clean and brilliant homemade breakfast! Ann is a brilliant hostess and made us feel really at home. Ann has thought of everything from a well stacked bathroom to a hair dryer and straightners in the drawer for the ladies. Definitely recommended.

The B&B was a first time experince for our daughters, ages 14 and 15 - and they loved it! Ann is a wonderful hostess, who sees to all details to make your stay a pleasant one - rooms are spacious and charmingly decorated - even the bathrooms are fun with all sorts of towels, soaps, knick knacks and decor that... Several visits during the last year have all been very enjoyable and benefitted from the high standard of rooms, hospitality, service and food in a relaxed atmosphere. It is easily accessible but in a pleasant rural area with a good selection of restaurants in the vicinity.
