After a four hour, tiring, travel from London, we didn't realise that the rooms were above a very noisy bar. However, the room was very clean and the landlady was very friendly and understanding of the situation. She only kept our deposit and didn't charge us for the night as we decided to stay at a quiet hotel instead. If... More

Could be a bit noisy at night but... More

A friend and I decided it would be fun to stay in a gay hotel. We weren't expecting it to be nice, just fun and campy. When you arrive, there's nothing to indicate that the hotel is upstairs, so you have to rely on one of the patrons to notice that you look lost so that they can direct you,... More

Room was very basic with poor lock on door, did not feel secure. Room very small with dated shower. Had hairs on the tiles in the shower room. Not a place for sleeping. Nightclub downstairs was open until 5am, the floor was vibrating with the noise.

I stayed for one night this is a great location for Manchester's famous canal street the price was reasonable the only small issue I personally had was a stain on the bed but once I bought this to the hotels attention they were quick to action and very apologetic so all in all it was a good stay.

Well, the hotel is situated in the gay area of Manchester. Well, you cannot compare the Canal Street to Gay Villages like in Montréal, Toronto or London. Besides the Hotel, there is a pub in the building, so that means noise until the close (2 a.m.), but if that does not bother you or you want take part in Karaoke-evenings... More
