I was a little confused after my stay here. I couldn't decide whether to remember it as a budget hotel, a leisure club, the local pub or a posh eatery - it had all of these elements, so it remains a bit of a hybrid. My husband and I stayed 1 night on 20th March on a special offer. We were given a nice clean room and a good breakfast which was fantastic value. All the staff were friendly and helpful and we will certainly stay again.

First room was freezing cold and had to wait until gone midnight before we were moved to a warm room. Rooms are so tired and in need of TLC. Didn't use room drinks facility as cups were stained. Food was very good and staff are friendly, except for night staff. Needs investment and makeover.

we had our daughter wedding at this venue on the 1st of march to say it was superb is an understatement the food was amazing the staff were amazing and the wedding package was amazing cannot thank them or praise the enough.

This is the first time I have written a review but felt compelled to do so . This hotel should be condemmed. It's simply dirty. Frayed carpet , dirty bathroom, uncomfortable bed. Public toilet - door hanging of cubicle and no toilet paper. Don't know how they exist. Avoid at all costs
