The entrance is a soulless , huge, unstaffed affair which leaves one with a strange sense of trepidation about what might be up the stairs. However all was good, with well trained friendly staff in reception, one of whom excelled herself by offering my 4 year old some toys to play with during our two day stay. As many others... More

Our first trip to Manchester and we could not have chosen a better hotel for location, value for money, service, parking and comfort. It ticked all our boxes and we will definitely be returning. We arrived at 11am and our room was ready for us to check in. It had all the facilities you require and from a personal point... More

Just returned from a shopping trip to Manchester with my partner and daughter. We have stayed in many hotels, especially in London, York and abroad. Most of the hotels we have stayed in are at least 4 star and I was shocked to find that this was only a 3 star. There are many "impressive" hotels in London, that could... More

Great location, and all you'd expect from the brand. Ended up eating in the hotel because it was raining - no change there for Manchester!! - and was impressed with food and service. Breakfast OK too. Recent make-over not bad, but you can see where they've skimped (bathroom tiles being best example). I'd return, but with ear plugs at the... More

I stayed here for one night in February. My first impressions were that it has a fantastic central location in Manchester. Right on the doorstep of all the shops, bars, eateries & just a few minutes from the train station, the Arndale & the Printworks. Also next to the bus station so handy for buses & trams. The check in... More

Slightly strange feel to the place with cavernous entrances and fused with 2nd floor parking. Very friendly check--in staff, quick and good value deal via lastminute.com. The makeover is ok but the underlying fabric is a bit tired, poorly finished paintwork in bedroom and dirty grout with old tiles yet a blisteringly efficient new shower and surround. Internet is free... More

Stayed here with a colleage and chose this hotel as it was central and had free on-site parking. I'd seen this hotel previously but always somehow forgot about it when staying in Manchester. Big mistake on my part, this is actually a great value hotel with very good deals available on executive rooms. These rooms are huge, well appointed and... More

The hotel is very central to everything. The Staff friendly and helpful. The room I was in (1024) was small the walls paper thin, I could clearly hear every word the person was saying next door,so be warned if you are making a private call, also I heard him go to the toilet (clearly). The bed was OK and the... More

I had booked this hotel this weekend but it was overbooked. First they told me to go wait in the bar and that they would find me a new hotel. When I asked what hotels they were gonna ring they said 3 and 4 stars and if I had any preferences (which I did) they could call them first. When... More

Got a real good rate for a Saturday night. It was a crash pad to avoid a taxi home. The hotel was fine. Clearly an old hotel that has recently been spruced up. The room was clean and the king size bed was comfy. Only issue was very thin walls made it noisy. Good central location. Staff were very friendly. More
