This was one of the best hotel experiences that I have ever had in France or any other country in Europe. The staff is excellent and I was treated vey well as a solo traveler. I returned with friends once and then stayed alone again for a total of three stays. I would recommend this hotel highly.
The very best of France. Civilised, attentive staff, food which is beyond belief and fellow guests who politely, but firmly, "put right" the visitor from the other side of the pond who wanted to talk business loudly, on his mobile, beside the pool. He apologised before Dinner, and everyone had an aperatif together. It does not get better than this.......
