Writing this from the hotel, and we recommend it. Good location, close to everything and the rooms are really clean. We don't know about the breakfast since we decided not to take it. The reception is friendly.

Hotel Magenta presented itself as a clean, tidy, well organised small hotel with the advantage of being super close to the beach...and outside of the peak French holiday periods..there will be plenty of room on the beach and a great alternative to Biarritz. The hotel is is a great location with a 2 minute walk to beach. The rooms were adequate and clean. There was no dining facility and staff ate their lunch at the tables outside making you feel uncomfortable as there only 3 or 4 tables. Also felt the staff were cold and unwelcoming especilally the manageress.
