This is a great place to stay. The owner greeted us warmly upon arrival and showed us our room. The room was spacious and nicely decorated and had a large window looking out towards the hillside and courtyard. Behind the chateau, there was a road leading to the village of St. Romain, a 30 minute walk through vineyards and woodlands... More

The rooms are nice and the breakfast is good. However, the treatment of their dog might spoil your appetite. As he "bites" the guests he is locked away outside in a fenced area and a hut with only bare boars to lie on. Water available was rain water because "the boys were told to give him water and obviously had... More

We just got back from staying 3 nights in the chateau, it was wonderful. The surrounding region of Burgundy is a must see. The rooms were decorated very nicely, beds comfy. The grounds were exceptional. The owners were so helpful and there wines were our favorites. I would love to come back again and bring our kids to enjoy all... More

Stayed here with family one night en route to Switzerland from Paris .Owners were wonderful to us and provided clean accomodations with a great breakfast . Kids were impressed with the rural farm surroundings and authentic chateau accomodations. While rooms were reasonably updated ,hallways ,staircases etc were pretty much as they were hundreds of years ago . Very much a memorable... More

I stayed here for two nights in the fall. The room is very spacious and nicely decorated in a rustic way. My first night there seemed to be an issue with the hot water and it took quite awhile for it to heat up. I did think that $150 euros is rather expensive for a bed and breakfast. Breakfast is... We stayed in the Chateau for one night; large room and very comfortable beds. Decor and furnishings are a mix of traditional and modern which works well. Breakfast is a simple continental spread but everything is top quality. Booked quite late and was charged €150 for B&B which felt a little expensive.

Chateau de Melin is a lovely B/B with spacious rooms and beds. We stayed in a room with a large double bed and 2 single beds in the adjoining room. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Helene, the hostess/owner, is very gracious and more than willing to help with any travel needs. They also have their own wine tasting for... More

We booked for one night with four persons in de Meursault-room ( in fact one spacious room with a grand lit and a small room with two beds ). The room is typical chateau, a lot of wood on the floor and furniture. The park-entrance to the chateau is impressive with a small lake and river. The breakfast was in... More

We stayed for 2 nights with our friend from Paris. We were in the Gevrey-Chambertin suite and our friend had the Maranges room. Both were extremely spacious and nicely decorated. The owners have done a great job renovating the rooms. However, it is an old property and there seemed to be a limited amount of hot water in the bathroom.... More

Chateau de Melin is a lovely B&B run by a young and energetic couple. Helene and Arnaud have worked hard over the years to create a beautiful home and lovely rooms. They have recently redone the rooms, and all have distinctive looks. The breakfast is more than you can eat! Oh, did I mention that they have vineyards and a... More
