“A delight in Amboise”

“Ideal in all ways”

Perfect location for touring the area. Easy to get in and out of Amboise, easy to park the car, easy to walk everywhere in Amboise. Very comfortable accommodation with good bed, nice kitchenware, and gorgeous view of the castle. Chantal is a fine ambassador for the Loire Valley.

We stayed in the loft, which had two bedrooms as well as the living area and bathroom. The place was very clean and spacious. La Porte Bleue consists of 1 or 2 apartments on an island with a fabulous view of the chateau. The historic property was lovingly restored by proprietress Chantal Salvaudon who attended to all of our needs. The apartment is well equipped, spacious, and tastefully appointed.
