Stayed for 6 nights, so time enough to get to know The Napoleon. I think I was probably a bit unlucky. The room was very small, and lighting poor so always felt a bit dark and dingey. The heating was a bit all or nothing, and the only remedy for a very hot room was to fling the windows open!... More

Perfectly placed. Underground parking at 10 EURO 24HRS... Driving back from Chamonix in a continual blizzard...found the p[lace by accident. The hotel is rather worn...but clean and warm...food is good..staff friendly...will stop here again as it is much nicer than Paris.

Great and convenient location in Fontainebleau - 3 mins from the Chateau, 10 mins from INSEAD. The reception is bright and modern. We were there just 1 night, but would stay longer if possible. Nice room looking into the courtyard, so no noise of the city. Clean room, good bathroom, a little bit old, but nice. Breakfast was very good and parking (10 euro instead of 15 euro) was across the road.

The Napoleon is located right next to the chateau with underground parking available across the road (€10/day). Staff was very friendly and helpful and we had a good night's sleep.
