Clean, sensibly-priced hotel in a terrific location. Plenty of good breakfast and dining options nearby. The reception service can best be described as laissez faire, but that might just be French insouciance, so don't let it put you off! The room I stayed in appeared to be a new addition between the hotel and the building out back. And while... more

A little gem of a hotel in a lively part of Paris, My partner and I found it more than adequate for a 5 nignt break in late November. It is unusually decorated and the exposed stone walls add something a little special to the atmosphere. The rooms were small (to be expected) but clean and the hallways narrow, but... more

I spent three nights recently at the Hotel Sully St. Germain, and found it to be pretty much what it's supposed to be--a decent but inexpensive hotel, in a fabulous neighborhood in Paris. The public spaces are quite nicely decorated in a medieval style--our room, on the 2nd floor, was not in this style but rather in standard late 1990's... more

My friends and I were very happy wiith the Sully! The staff was extremely friendly and were able to accomodate us before check in time...very helpful as we were all very jet lagged. Great size room with 3 single beds, large closet, safe, mini fridge, nice size bathroom with a detached toilet. Great location. Better than expected continental breakfast. Comfortable... more

I actually stayed at this hotel twice during my trip to Europe. My first stay was for 3 days. This room was just for myself. It was actually a bit larger than I had expected from all of the comments about Parisian hotels. It was fairly simple, but really when you're in Paris are you really in your room much?!... more

The hotel staff was excellent! We had a large room because of our anniversary. Breakfast was delicious. A/C stopped working mid week, but we didn't spend much time in our room. We walked a lot and loved the convenient location. There are restaurants, a fruit stand, shops, and a pharmacy within the same block. Small safety concern: we had a... more

We found this hotel to be "adequate" for our needs. We could take a short walk to the Metro stop to access more distant locations or walk to places like Notre Dame Cathedral, Luxemburg Gardens, the Seine River, and a multitude of cafes. Our first floor room faced the street but was fairly quiet. Ecoles is not as busy as... more

The Hotel Sully Saint Germain is located in the Latin Quarter (5th Arrondissment ). The location offers excellent access to the City of Paris via Metro, Bus, RER, and walking. There are plenty of restaurants located within in an easy walk. I have stayed at the Sully Saint Germain on four different times since 2007 including extended periods (10-25 days).... more

My wife and I just returned from a 4 night break in Paris and had a wonderful time! We were really pleased with the style of the Sully Saint Germain hotel, quite "oldie worldie" with exposed stone walls and an almost medieval/gothic style of decor. We were at the top of the building on the sixth floor, so rather than... more

This is the second time I have stayed at Hotel Sully and both times I have really enjoyed my stay. Spacious rooms (for Paris), really cool lobby full on antiques and stocked bar (although I have never used it) and I found the staff very helpful. I especially like the early check in time. They let us check in early... more
