If you are going to stay here you'll need to trade off on a few things.... 1. its noisey. 2. the rooms look dated and run down. 3. staff think they're royalty. But.... The hotel is in an awesome location!

Hotel is in a practical location with great rooms. I have stayed in it a few times and always when i have a chance I go back. My only point is that breakfast must improve...the continental option is not very exciting and hot options should be offered to clients.

We chose the Washington Opera because it's part of the Golden Tulip group, which we think quite highly of. The locality is superb. We stayed here for 2 nights weekend of 28th Jan 2012. As mentioned by others, the rooms and bathroom are small but ours (205) was very clean, comfortable and well presented.
