We took a long weekend break & were recommended to stay here. Being my first trip to Paris, I wanted somewhere central to the majority of sites. The location was just what we wanted - a reasonable distance from the sites, but in a quiet location. The hotel was a 1920s style hotel with old style furnishings. The club room... more

We have just returned from a 4 day stay in the Millennium Opera and we were delighted with the hotel. We arrived early and were provided with our room immediately. Mr Alexandre at reception was most helpful, and he speaks excellent English. The restaurant staff were also very pleasant to deal with and the breakfast choice was top class. The... more

I liked this hotel, but it doesn't have the facilities to call itself a 4 star. Room service was not available. The hotel is pretty, but it needs some tender loving care. I had to change my room because the first room assigned was dirty. The staff was very helpful and the location of the hotel is excellent. The metro... more

The Millenium Paris Opera is an old grand-dame of a hotel located along the active "Grands Boulevards" area. What it scores well in (elegance, beautiful marble lobby with old-fashioned bar and tea service, plush dark colors) it also suffers from, due to the need for a more complete renovation of the bedding and bed linens. The room: My room was... more

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for a long weekend (3 nights) and just loved it. It is located near the Opera, great shopping and a short walk from the Louvre, the river and every other spot you might want to go in Paris. We either walked everywhere or rode bikes, which we rented at one of the... more

A rather impressive lobby and classically stylish communal areas do not reciprocate in the bedrooms - very small (as usual in Paris), rather shabby, and surprisingly in November, oppressively hot (and yes, we tried to yank up the air-con). Could do with a little face lift. At breakfast, had to ask for coffee twice before got any (and it wasn't... more

The photo on the web site is a bit deceptive. While this hotel was passable, it has seen better days and is in need of a facelift. The rooms where run down and the soap dish fell off (and onto my foot) every day. Plus the wake up calls are not reliable. The location is great but I think there... more

This is a nice hotel. I thought it was a bit expensive, but the room I got was quite large for Paris, with a sitting area and a separate sleeping area. The furniture looked antique (and nice antique, not garage sale antique) but the bathroom was such a mess. There was caulk all over the place--loose caulk that you could... more

The location is ideal, near the opera and metro station. Even though the lobby looks luxurious, the rooms are very small, dark, with dirty carpets. The bathroom was another dissapointment: broken marble tiles and poor ventilation. The brakfast service was terrible, no one was cleaning the tables, if you wanted to have breakfast between 9-10 it would be impossible to... more

We're just back from a week in Paris. This hotel was located in a fantastic spot with several métro stops/lines right nearby. The bed was comfy, linens and towels high quality, and the room had a lot of storage space. Decorated with antiques, a real crystal chandelier, and plenty of light. I will stay here again when I return to... more
