I have revisited the hotel last year December and i was surprised that the hotel was renewed. My last stay was 2009 and many things have changed. The rooms look sweet and new and accessibility to most of Paris is very good. For a budget trip this is a good choice. Student vacationist would like it.
We stayed here for 5 nights. It is one star hotel, nothing special. Don't expect more than that. Basic facilities, no restaurant and pool. But it is on walking distance to Majestic Bastille and Place de la République.
We made a reservation by phone that was Lost by the Hotel Meteore. When we arrived they wanted to sell Is a more expensive room. The room was freshly painted, smelled of Print, bathroom quite uncared, toilette paper needed to be negotiated. Smelly and unclean Rezeption personnel. Not to be recommended for the price they ask for.
