We stop at Ibis Nimes Ouest twice year on our journeys between UK and Spain. Our experience is always of a friendly reception and clean, tidy room. We sleep well and leave refreshed in the morning and particularly appreciate the lack of hassle over the dog with which we travel.

We tried to have a meal on the terrasse but gave up after half an hour. We had ordered a bottle of wine and a carafe d'eau but neither had appeared and no one came to take our order. Very disappointing compared with the same chain of hotels that we had stayed in for the last 3 nights. We now...

Bad points:
1) Unpleasant smell all along the stairs, corridors, and in the room (1st floor), possibly due to old air-co system.
2) Noisy and uncomfortable bed (room 128).
3) Quite far from city centre (around 10...
