This small hotel is very clean, full of character, has a great, helpful owner and virtually in the centre of Cahors. My room, was very small but spotlessly clean, we needed no more from this hotel, the nearest bar was only 20 metres away, restaurants abound in the main road. Breakfast was typical French style, good bread, jam, croissants and... More

This is a relatively simple hotel. But it is very clean, comfortable, well run and a good price. The proprietor, Guy, is a lovely person - he's pretty much the only person you'll see so there's no revolving door responsibility here - if there's a problem he'll deal with it. He's always ready to chat and help you especially with... More

We stayed in the Jean XXII on our hike on the Chemin de Compostelle. The hotel is very small, just a few rooms. But the decorations and service is just great. After checking in and returning to reception, the owner hat already prepared a map of recommendations for dinner. The rooms are good sized, clean and we had a room... More

Travelling with 3 friends we shared a room for 1 night. Short walk from the train station (10 minutes). The room was basic but clean. The towels were a bit scratchy. Friendly reception, received great dinner recommendations. Didn't have breakfast but the space for eating looked nice. Lovely city!

The hotel offers a warm welcome (reception is open from 16:30) and is centrally located. It is about 10 minutes walk from the train station. Our room was very attractive and the hotel breakfast was very good value for money and served in a pleasant area. The wonderful plants inside the hotel deserve a special mention. We had to leave... Our room (8) at the Jean XXII was small, but clean. The shower room was also small, but oddly the shower was double size! Despite being on the main road, our room, which was at the side of the hotel, was quiet. There are things that would improve the quality of stay immensely, chief of which is the pillows, which... The hotel is located on the upper part of the medieval town of Cahors and has a public car parking lot in front of the hotel. The hotel is tiny (9 rooms) and serves a minimalistic breakfast buffet. The owner closes its front door from 11-16:30 for a break, so if you arrive, make sure it is late afternoon. Rooms... More

We enjoyed four nights in Cahors. The hotel is very clean and the bathroom had a good shower. Our room (number 1) was massive. Breakfasts were very good - it was the only hotel that offered fruit, and in addition there was yoghurt, jams and cheeses as well as the usual croissants and drink choices. It is very centrally located... More

This hotel is a great place to stay if you just want a basic, comfy, ensuite bedroom located centrally in Cahors. Stayed in a double room which overlooked a small courtyard at the back with a beautiful view of the church. Decor in room is a little outdated but clean white sheets on the beds. The hotel is ideally located... More

A friend and I shared a 2-bedroom suite with bathroom located on 2 floors with a connecting staircase. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, although small. The woman who checked us in and the man who served us breakfast were charming and helpful despite our limited French. If we stayed again, we would forego breakfast at the hotel for... More
