As a group with Special Needs Children we travel to Lourdes each Easter and have been staying in the Solitude for almost twenty years. We have always found the staff to be very courteous and helpful if the children do not like the food they always provide what we ask. The Restaurant staff are very friendly and work very hard.... I am just home after staying at La Solitude Hotel. The standard of the hotel did not live up to the grading of the hotel? We went to the Pyrenees on the 19th Oct 2012,and got to our Hotel 'La SOLITUDE',a 4 star hotel uniquely located on the banks of the river GAVE,close to Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine. “Stay at Hotel La Solitude”

One of the best hotel i ever had. Best customer service, house keeping, friendly staff, a very nice bar and restaurant. I would suggest if you could provide variety of breakfast instead of just continental.

I loved everything about this hotel-- great service, great food, great location, except one thing that went wrong. I packed in a bottle of truffle oil in my luggage and I'm a hundred percent sure someone went through my luggage and took it. Quite sad really. That's all

“Poor Quality Hotel at Good Location in Lourdes”

Roomn was small. Hallway was smelly-foul odor. Nice view of hills and partial view of river. Difficult to find parking. Desk staff gave poor and disinterested "service". After 2 attempts to pay with my credit card--finally went through. After arriving home, I received an email to resubmit credit card payment. Location of hotel was good.
