We spent 2 nights in Bayeux in late September. We felt the motel was a good value for the price, although the room was small even by French standards. It was very clean and quiet and we had no problems seeing the sites in Bayeux even though the motel is located about 15 min. from town. At the second roundabout... More

I mean, it was ok...clean and comfortable. VERY quiet. It was just not like other hotels, in that it was quite stark, almost hostel like in nature. Two twin beds in a small room, and no carpet. It didn't have anything extra special that is for sure. Oh, except for crickets. It had a couple of those. Our room backed... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was small (as are virtually all French hotel rooms), but very clean and modern. One of the nicest bathrooms we had during our trip. We did have dinner there one night, and it was very good and fairly average in price. We never bought breakfast at our hotels in France, as they... More

I only stayed for one night but we used the meeting room facility and had lunch, dinner and breakfast all of which were fine. The room was small but clean and tidy. My rating takes account of the prices charged. More

I was with my wife in this Motel for 2 nights. The place is located on the perimeter of town of Bayeux and my GPS didn't found it at all. The style is more like Motel, not typical Hotel. There is no elevator in this two stors building with connecting walkway outside. Since the location is in the country, therefore... More

This campanile is well located to visit the Bayeux tapestry and cathedral along with the Bayeux cemetary for British servicemen of the secondworld war both are within easy walking distance. The hotel is quiet, with comfortable beds and very clean. We were lucky enough to have a room at the back overlooking the meadows and the cathedral is was lovely.... More

My wife and I along with another couple were traveling by car to Bayeux for a Normandy tour and to see the Tapestry. All of the "downtown" hotels and B&B's seemed overpriced to me so I broadened my search a bit geographically since we had a car and came upon the Capanille which appeared to be on the edge of... The price of the room the same as Premier Inn,but not as good as value, the rooms are small, and in the heat you stand a chance of sufocating, with shutters down and very little air,and the aircon did not work! Breakfast is 9 euro's,much cheaper in town.Dinner my advice don't have the buffett, food is fine, but very expensive,7 euros for a pint!!! In... More

Have stayed here numerous times. It does what it says on the tin; basic rooms at a good price. Breakfast is good, but I rarely have used the restaurant as it is only a short walk to central Bayeux from the hotel. Parking is plentiful, the hotel is easy to find and you can get get out to all the... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Bayeux Hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bayeux. More
