The Royal is obviously less famous than its brother "Normandy", probably because of its size as a 7 floor building standing a few steps from the Deauville beach, located one block from the casino, and 3 minutes walk from the center of Deauville. “Grand Hotel”

Stayed at the hotel from 28th to 31st March 2013, ocean facing room on the seventh floor, super stay, the lobby is Grand! the corridors are covered with photos of most Hollywood stars who have stayed at this hotel, the breakfast room and the restaurant are superb. Mr GLaurent ROUSSIN General Manager/Director is exceptionally a great Host.

“Old fashioned hotel on a great location”

I would have to agree with some other reviewers that this is not quite 5 star. The public areas are lovely and most definitely are 5 star but our room was not really there and some of the service was not quite there either. We were only staying one night but there was no availability to eat in the hotel.... More

“Beautiful hotel”

Very beautiful hotel with amazing views! We had a room on upper floor with a king size bed. The hotel was renting bicycles (free of charge) that we decided to take and go around Deauville - it was just wonderful! The food is just AMAZING (however priced quiet high). The service is excellent and I would definitely recommend this hotel!
