This is such a delightful B&B! Aminata, the host, could not have been more hospitable, sorting out parking and giving us lots of information about her city. The room was lovely and we felt we were experiencing a real French B&B. The coffee was wonderful with our fresh pastries at breakfast.
Stayed there for one night, and was totally taken by the charm of the place and hospitality of the owner! Great breakfast also! Rouen is a little village with plenty of things to see and great places to eat!
We stayed with Aminata at La Boulangerie for one night and she made the stay very easy and comfortable. The rooms are big, comfortable and well equipped, with parking directly in front of the hotel on the street. It is a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral and old town shopping and restaurants. Aminata recommended a great restaurant for dinner,...

We arrived to the Boulangerie in the late afternoon, and it was totally closed down and locked. Luckily I had a phone and the hotel number. We met Aminata on the street and she took us to our room through a side door and up a dark staircase. I felt like we were walking to our room through the back...

Aminata was a great host during our 2 night stay. Breakfast was delicious - french breads, croissants, pain au chocolat, home made jams - the list...

I attended a conference at Rouen and I'm so glad I wasn't stuck in a generic hotel. This place is delightful - old beauty of wooden columbage,...

I can understand why this place gets the top rating in Rouen. It was charming, reasonably priced, good value, clean, comfortable beds, easy walking distance to the town centre and cathedral. Excellent breakfast and a gracious, friendly hostess, Aminata.
I booked the rooms directly with her over email and confirmed via sms my arrival time day of. If you are...

My wife and I stayed at La Boulangerie at the end of October and we had a lovely time. Rouen was quite cold during our stay, but it was always warm back at La Boulangerie. Aminata could'nt do enough to help you, she even reserved a table at a restaurant for us. I would recommend La Boulangerie to anyone thinking...
