The hotel was a classic motor hotel set up. The rooms were a bit small and cramped but very clean and well maintained, the restaurant was quite good. As with all Campanille Hotels allthough the rooms are basic they have all your requirements. The food in the French Campanille is superb afraid the British restraunts allthough good do not come up to the standard of the French. Madame Coombe More

We stayed there in 2002 and found the rooms dirty and cramped. The decor was awful and the ancient bed was falling to bits. We checked out after one night and moved to the Best western in saumur which was far superior for the same price. More
