Great location in Cognac, easy walk to Cognac houses and town centre. Rooms a bit tatty and slight sewage smell in toilet although bed very comfortable and I had a nice walk-in shower. Biggest problem was that air conditioning didn't work at all so room very hot.

We were worried about choosing a hotel in town because of motorcycle parking but we needn't have worried. Although there is plenty of public parking, we paid for private parking at the back (locked at all times).For once we were in the middle of town and were able to walk around instead of staying at the hotel.

The second time we have stayed in this hotel for the Cognac Blues Passions festival. The hotel is well situated with a large free car park opposite - its on a quite busy road so ask for a quiet room as much of the hotel faces towards an inner courtyard which is quiet. 24hr desk and if you return after... if you want to go to the Cognac Blues Festival then you should have a look at this hotel. It is 10 minutes from the centre of town and has secure parking. Our room was large for a 3 star hotel and had a very good shower. Very nice staff even in the middle of the night. Comfortable room but... More

Its clean, quiet, the upper floors renovated (avoid the ground floor) and has 24h front desk. Don't expect many things in the town of cognac. Imagine that after 19:00 hours everything is closed but 2 cafes/bars in the central square are open.

Staff are agreeable, helpful. Rooms spacious. Not suitable for a longer stay than lone night.
