The hotel is easy to find and perfectly located for central Poitiers. There are loads of shops and restaurants on the doorstep and parking is available in the courtyard. We booked two ‘grand confort’ rooms overlooking the interior courtyard. Our room was comfortable and quiet but definitely needed redecoration. The location is excellent, but not all rooms are through the inner courtyard. Some rooms face the street, and for those you must go through a special entrance in the portal which connects the hotel to the street. As well as a convenient overnight stop this hotel offered comfort, cleanliness and excellent access to the centre of Poitiers. Safe parking and close to excellent restaurants (try Le Poitevin just along the street - wonderful meal). The hotel represents excellent value and is highly recommended. more

We were lucky to find this hotel at the end of a long drive. A handy location for the town and the restaurant next door. Being the second stop in a 4 week holiday we took 77Eur for the night as probably a average rate. As it turned out this was one of the more expensive places we stayed at.... more

My partner and I stayed in this hotel when we were in Poitiers for a wedding, and we had a great experience. the room was comfortable (and air conditioned), and the staff was extremely helpful. Located in the center of town, it was extremely convenient. I would stay here again. more

Great location; clean quiet rooms. If star ratings were based on the helpfulness of the staff, l'Europe would be a five-star. As a two-star, it is a terrific value. more
