This hotel was clean; the staff friendly and located in the heart of old Avignon - a great base for exploring the city and the region. The street was quiet and the historic building adaption was very well done.

we had booked a stay in that place when we went to avignon. on the first night my wife saw a bug crawling on the bed i killed it and blood spurted out. as usual at that time no one available at reception all gone so during the night i kept Awake and killed probably 30 of these bed bugs.... More

Our recent stay at the Hotel Blauvac was a disappointment. The location is good, near the square and within walking distance of the central car park, but the furnishings were shoddy and the bed was terribly uncomfortable. One of the best guide books lists this hotel as "luxury". Do not be deceived - look elsewhere.

A surprisingly cute hotel with a grand staircase circling up to about 16 rooms. We had a nice triple room, one double and a single, space for a cot, bathroom was newly refurbished with walk-in shower. Breakfast was standard, easy walking distance to all central areas and sights, space to leave luggage during the day.

Nice small, reasonably priced hotel close to Papal Palace and most other tourist attractions in Avignon. Hotel is clean and quiet. Only drawback is parking which is 400/500 metres away and access to the hotel is via a pedestrian street.
