We stayed here toward the end of June 2011 and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable, with a good breakfast (more than just a typical continental breakfast) costing 12 euros. The staff was very helpful with our luggage and we slept soundly- pleasantly surprised for being in the center of town and otherwise expecting typical city noises.

We had a "superior room" at a competitive rate. It was a little cramped because of the large bed, but the bathroom was spacious. It was next to the door to the first floor terrace and very peaceful. We recently spent 3 nights at Le Comtadin while in the area for a wedding. The location of the hotel is very central and in walking distance of the centre of Carpentras and the weekly market. 3 stars hotel recently refurbished well located in downtown Carpentras. Be sure to ask for a patio room and not a street room, as the street is fairly noisy. Service is efficient and really quick. Breakfast is plenty but a bit expensive.

Carpentras is a relatively un-touristy town in the Provence, and the excellent location of Le Comtadin puts you right at the edge of downtown, with free parking available along the street.
