Just 30 min of bus far from Cannes downtown, great motel style hotel. Clean rooms and polite staff. Meal are really good and not so expensive. Being the whole day @ the festival, that is a really good solution for the nights you spend in Cannes. (There in May 2011)

We stayed in this motel style hotel on the edge on the city. Reasonable price, reasonable food. A drive to the beach and to the city / restaurants. But Importantly, rooms were clean and seemed recently renovated (95). I'd stay here again..

The ceiling was rather mouldy and peeling and so was the main room with is tiny. There was a hole in the wall made by the door handle. The bar closes at eleven and you are asked to leave then too. We booked this hotel because of the reasonable price, and it didn't seem too far away from city centre. We were mistaken. I would not recommend this hotel for travellers without cars. There isn't even a pedestrian path into the hotel, you either have to walk on the grass or the road (although cars were infrequenty on that particular road).... More

Campanile was a nice surprise. It's next to the airport of Cannes, but the planes dídn;t disturb us one bit. It's clean, good beds and a good restaurant. Both for breakfast and supper. Budget hotel-clean but noisy aircon. Helpful staff. Excellent breakfast(non inclusive)all you can eat in larg dining room overlooking swimming pool. Would use again.
