“Urgently in need of a makeover”

We've stayed at the Comfort Galaxie several times but it's reached the point where we'll be making a change for next year. The location is ideal for us, close to the airport and the seafront restaurants of St Laurent du Var, but the hotel is looking very tired and shabby. “Very near to beach, restaurants and shops”

We stayed here for 3 nights and found it a reasonable place as a base to explore the area. The immediate area is not wonderful but walk for five minutes (towards the sea) and it is a different place. This hotel was not very cheap and not at all nice. Our taxi driver did not even accept a taxi fare when he dropped us off!
