As other reviewers have noted, the rooms are lovely and the breakfasts are excellent. However, our experience with the hosts was not great. We arrived with two young children in tow, and asked if we could make a reservation for the dinner the following evening. They said no, they were full. We asked if we could bring some food in... Rustic, charming, wonderful. No TV, no internet, as it should be for such an ambiance. Extremely friendly hosts and fun to chat with. It's that combination of friendliness and the ambiance of a former farm that gives it that special feeling you are really in Provence.

We stayed two nights at this lovely old farmhouse. The sisters who run the place are really helpful and keeps the place very neat and clean. Our room was facing the little courtyard with a pond. We were not disturbed by the main road which is quite close. Breakfast was homemade and nice, served either in the kitchen or outside.... More

This is the first review we've ever written, and admittedly it is rather delayed, but having checked recent posts it seems that what we want to share is very relevant! To say Gordes is beautiful, is an understatement, and for us, the Burliere Guest House was one of its gems! Located a few minutes drive down the hill from the... More

Have just returned from a 2 night stay here and really didn't want to leave. La Burliere is charming and typically French from the tasteful, shabby-chic bedrooms with their stone floors to the beautiful courtyard with its fountains and myriad of flowers. Marinette and her sister could not have made us more welcome. We arrived later than expected in the... More

These are good kind people! We ended up here late at night, exhausted from our flight with no reservation (the villa we were to rent had a problem and the villa owners set us up here for the night) - We were welcomed here with open arms (and I needed it). The Inn is lovely, peaceful and in a pretty... More

We spent three nights here as a base for exploring the Luberon. It's a good location, comfortable but not that memorable. Marinette is eager to please, and the breakfasts are good. I thought dinner was pricey at 30 euros each for basic dishes. For the same price we had a fantastic meal at Le Vieux Bistrot (recommended by Marinette) in... More

We recently stayed at La Burliere for five nights and just loved this place. It is in the countryside, yet accessible to Avignon, Gordes, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Lourmarin, and dozens of small villages we did not have time to explore. Marinette, Isabel, and Thierry were helpful and gracious hosts, suggesting restaurants, markets, and must-see towns in the region. Their... More

I've never written any review for my stays. This is my first review. I am writing it because I really like this B&B. We don't speak french at all, but we had no problem communicating with the sisters. They were helpful, friendly and nice. They made us feel like home. We stayed there for 3 nights and at the end,... We stayed for only 2 days but could easily have stayed much longer. This is a delightful B& B run by genuinely warm and hospitable hosts. The rooms are beautifully furnished without being stuffy with interesting artifacts and the courtyard and dining room are very inviting places to sit around and enjoy. The location near Gordes is ideal for exploring... More
