We had 2 nights here during May 2011-conveniently situated for transport & evening meals although we did not have breakfast included. The room was provided with crockery, cutlery & a microwave - but nothing to wash or dry dishes. The beds were rock hard & I had to use the bedcovering underneath the sheet to enable a night's sleep. Staff... More

We were staying here for a month on a study trip to Euromed. Whatever you do, do not stay in this hotel. Not only is it disgusting, but the management is incompetent & cannot deal with anything. Upon arrival, after paying nearly £1400 between us, my flatmate & I were given a disabled room, after they had overmarketed the 'appartments'... More

We spent 2 nights here at the Citea in Marseille. Overall it was an ok hotel. Cheap... Service - Firstly the staff there weren't the most helpful bunch. Yes I did do some surfing to see where to go around Provence area (as someone had previously written) and also a good recommendation for bouillabaisse but thought I would ask the... More

The hotel is very clean, the staff are friendly and the price was good. The accommodation is fairly basic, the little kitchen is good for breakfast, but you wouldn't be making your dinner! The location is pretty good, a short walk to the metro or about 20 mins to vieux port. The only down side was the huge amount of... More

I have been to Marseille many times and stayed at the Citea Prado twice. I have since been staying at the Vieux-Port for the location and closer to my friends. I have to say that my stay at the Citea was really nice, I was by myself and they took good care of me. I especially appreciated the kitchen and... More

Hotel staff were friendly. The Prado is located near the metro and the "Parc Chanot". The price is not expensive for quality. little noise during the night. Recommended More

I stayed in the Citea for 10 nights while visiting Marseille to do some work with collaborators. I picked this place because it was cheap, next to the metro and had the benefit of a little kitchen. As I was staying for so long I did not want the expense of going out every night to eat. I had a... More

This hotel is away from the port area, but it was right on a metro stop, which made it really easy to get to and get around town. There were signs up around the hotel about security and staff suggested you lock up everything and ensure you closed your window - no matter what floor you were on - because... More

We went to Marseille for a week in August and stayed at the Citea Marseille Prado Perier. It's in a great (safe) location a little further out from the Vieux Port, but had excellent transport links. (Metro station practically outside, as well as bus stops). The journey into town didn't take more than 10 mins, even with traffic! With food... More
